Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley

 Well the title says it. We watched the fight last weekend at a friends house & although it was not a "knockout", everyone was still proud that Manny was declared the winner. We also celebrated a couple birthdays. Happy Birthday to my little one who is now 7. All in all, everyone had a nice time. Here are some of the pictures & until next time..............D

Hello everyone...
Yes, I have been really bad in keeping my blog updated. I have been on this mission to lose weight & have been going to the gym 6 days a week. It has really used up a lot of my "photo taking" time so my posts are not going to be as frequent as I would like them to be. My only photo time is pretty much on the weekends.
Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of taking pictures of my friends little girl's first communion. Here are some of the photo's from that day.

Making time for photography

I will have to make some time this weekend to use my new lens. I was so excited a couple weeks ago after my new Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 lens was delivered & I went out a couple times with it but have not really had a chance to take it and USE it. So far, I have spent everyday (except Sunday's) at the gym working out & trying to get into shape. I really need to lose this spare tire that I have been carrying around for a few years. I will have to do my photography hobby over the weekends. I have neglected to update my blog & I just wanted to post an update and a couple photographs. Here are a couple pictures of my brothers dog.

A new life begins

My parents were setting up their garden & moving items from last fall in and out of their sheds. While attempting to move their wire fencing they noticed a bird built her nest right in the middle of it. The nest had a few blue eggs, so they left it alone. Well, those blue eggs have all hatched. It's not very often that you can get a chance to photograph something like this, so I wanted to share it with you. I love Springtime!

Spring is here

I have not posted anything on here in recently. It has been a rollercoaster ride in my family these past couple weeks & Cancer has struck 2 family members. Praying they can beat this monster & have a quick recovery.
Well Spring is in the air & our Cherry Blossom tree is in full bloom. I was able to capture some photo's around my house. Of course, I had to capture my little handsome guy playing outside on his scooter.

CD packaged & ready to deliver

Well I am finally done with baby L's editing. I decided to etch the cd this time using one of the images. I like it but I think I will have to play around with the contrast to make it "pop" more on the cd. It is incredible how many images turn out really good & are keepers verses how many total images you take at a shoot. I always try to take a lot of different shots with different angles, even if it is of the same thing. It is a lot more work & takes a lot more time but I always find it to be worthwhile in the end.

Hey everyone ~ I just wanted to post a picture of this hat that was made by Cat Sew Crafty. The turn around time was super fast & I was quite pleased and it was a perfect fit :)
